Patent for an improved, strong, durable, and simple churn that produces butter quickly and with much use of power. It has a slide rest with a rotary driving spindle on one end and guide pulleys on the other end, a slide-block that slides on the end of the slide rest, a turn-peg with a ratchet-head on the slide-block, a pawl, and a chord that attaches all these parts.

Patent for a buckle attachment for buckles that do not use riveting, sewing or other fastening, "and when so placed together, and the strap inserted and buckled, the whole is as firmly held together as if riveted, sewed or fastened with any of the ordinary methods" (lines 13-16).

Patent for a combined cotton chopper and cultivator that "consists in providing the main axle with spur-wheels and with depending supports to which are attached the beams of the cultivator shovels and a cutting blade which extends in front of the machine and is adapted to be vibrated by the spur-wheels as the machine moves over the ground, thereby providing means for chopping cotton or other stalks" (lines 17-25).

Patent for an improved construction design for churn power that "may be readily employed in connection with any ordinary vessel serving as a churn body, and which will effect a rapid production of butter" (lines 12-15).

Patent for a washing machine that has an improved construction, is more efficient, and one that quickly and thoroughly washes clothes without damaging the clothes. The machine is a cylinder that has a crank-operated inner scrubbing cylinder. The machine has a spout in order to drain the cylinder.

Patent for a rotary paper folder meant to fold newspapers as they come from the press in a web. The invention is simple, and cuts the paper into sheets of the desired length. Its folding attachment folds the paper in parallel columns, and the knives do not move in relation to the cylinders.

Patent for a hame-hook that "may be readily applied to the hames or removed therefrom, and which wile in position is secure against any accidental loosening or removal; and furthermore, is strong, cheap, and durable" (lines 12-17).

Patent for a suspension bridge that improves on a previous patent granted to the inventor (No. 411,499). This patent is meant to "decrease the vertical motion in floor of min span of bridge, thereby adding stability thereto; to provide for a new and improved anchorage for the suspension cables of the bridge; and, furthermore, to improve certain details of construction" (lines 15-20).

Patent for an economic and durable refrigerating apparatus that cools food by "reducing the temperature of the air in a partially closed chamber by the evaporation of water brought about through the medium of capillary attraction, and likewise to provide for automatically maintaining a predetermined level of water in the water chamber of the apparatus, and a thorough ventilation of the refrigerating chamber thereof" (lines 16-24).

Patent for an improved ejector pump that operates using air or steam pressure, and pumps water any height or distance. The invention is easily operated and practical.
