It consolidates Army RDT&E organizations at APG capitalizing technical synergy across Department of Defense, academia and industry (Transformational Option #54). This proposal creates required synergy between technology and life cycle support organizations for the Soldier Systems. This move also supports the Army transformational Option: #33 -- Consolidate within each Service within a DTAP Technical Capability Area across multiple functions.
