A letter written to Mr. T. N. Carswell, Abilene, Texas from Lloyd Arnovich, Social Case Worker, Big Spring State Hospital, Big Spring, Texas, dated December 22, 1961. Arnovich advises Carswell of their efforts to recruit a local doctor to perform an eye exam for Byrdie Carswell, of the enclosed receipts credited to Byrdie's account and that she continues to do well.
