Jim Bevis, co-founder of CE, shares his perspective of what happened."

We have a model of leadership that involves ministers/evangelists and elders/pastors. We train ministers but unfortunately have not intentionally developed elders for the church in a post-Christian culture. However, elders emerge in an intentional development ministry."
