Postcard of the Holy Angels Academy in Boerne, Texas, a two-story building with wrap-around porches on both stories. There are a few short steps leading up to the first-story porch and the front door to the academy. There are several trees surrounding the building, obscuring much of the second-story. Postcard of a manilla-colored four story building obscured by a treeline. Stuart Hall's history is written as follows, "Stuart Hall is a new name given to the Virginia Female Institute of Staunton. It was founded in 1848, and is one of the oldest educational institutions for girls in the country. There are four massive buildings, surrounded by about four acres of beautiful land, located on an elevation of 1,450 feet above the sea level, and midway between the picturesque James and Shenandoah Rivers." The letter reads, "We reached here 7 this a. m. Write me soon with love, Sig." The postcard is addressed to "Miss Mamie McFaddin 1141 3rd Ave Huntington, W. Va."
