Photograph used for a story in the Daily Oklahoman newspaper. Caption: "Seventy-one University of Oklahoma students were routed from their beds early Sunday by a fire in Sigma Alpha Epsilon fraternity house. Most were relocated in new quarters on the OU north campus Sunday night. The fraternity house blaze inflicted heavy damage to an area of the fourth floor and to the roof of the building, Gene Moore, Norman fire marshall said. Cigaret to Blame? Extenside water and smoke damage left the lower three floors unliveable, forcing all residents of the main building to be evacuated. The fire broke out in a study room, probably from a cigret, shortly after 6 a.m. Sunday. Residents of the main building fled and eight men who lived in the fraternity house annex were arroused. No injuries were reported."
