Copy of transcript for a letter from Richard Marsh to Stephen F. Austin, in which Marsh explains that he traded Joseph Powell four hundred and eighteen dollars worth of goods for a title on two hundred acres in Texas. Marsh expresses his recent doubts on the legitimacy of the title and hopes that Austin can legitimize his land claims, or help to locate Powell for prosecution.
