Postcard image of an unidentified rural neighborhood in Ciudad Juarez, Mexico, with the handwritten label "Mexican Quarters" at the bottom. The image was taken from a hill and there is a mix of adobe houses and wooden shacks with wooden fencing built around an open square below, and other buildings along the ridge of other hills in the left and center parts of the image. In the square, an unidentified woman is hanging laundry and several horses are visible, as well as a wagon; three other people are walking up a path in the background. A handwritten note on the back addressed to Miss G. M. Horne says, "Dear G.M. Haven't forgotten you. Will write soon. Everything fine and lots of work. Walter. "

Postcard from Fred to his sister Mrs. Gus Jentsch. The correspondence is written in German. On the front is a photograph of a brick building on a corner of a street. The building is two floors and houses the Little Red Onion Cafe and the Sanitex Clothes Shop. The clothes shop has a few stairs leading up to its door. Part of the shops can be seen through the front windows. The sidewalk in front of the stores is lined with trees.

Postcard from Rose Chamberlin to Junia Roberts Osterhout. The front has three photos stacked vertically. The one on top has buildings in the plains and is a general view of Fort Concho. The second one is the officers' quarters and has a row of stone houses with a road out in front. All the houses have slanted roofs and chimneys. At the start of the road is a fence with an open gate. The bottom one is the soldiers' quarters and has a row of roofs held up by wooden columns, attached to a stone building. On the back, Rose wrote about what she'd been up to and pieces of local news.

This document is a postcard from the Charles B. Moore Collection. It is addressed to Mary Moore who was located in Omaha, Nebraska. The author of the document is Alice G. In the document, Alice details that she has received Mary's letter and will write a better response soon. She also mentions that her and her family are doing better and that their gardens are growing nicely. She mentions that the weather has been exceptional with good rain, but notes that the winds are unusually strong. The front of the postcard is a photograph of the Presbyterian church in Gallatin, Tennessee.

Postcard addressed to C. L. Woodward "Chief Fire Dept., Austin [sic], Texas" with a photograph of the motor vehicles used by the Akron Fire Department in Akron, Ohio. The caption on the photo reads: "The Webb Motor Fire Apparatus used in the Akron Fire Department." All of the vehicles have ladders loaded in the back, along with alarm bells mounted on the front part of the cars; these are parked outside of the fire station in the city with the firemen of the department posing around the vehicles.

Bruce notes the blizzard conditions in Michigan that include four to five feet snow drifts. The photograph on the reverse side shows a group of firemen sitting in a fire truck that is covered in snow and wearing snow chains; the note on the picture says: "10 below zero inspecting fire alarm."

Postcard with a photograph of the damage caused by a major fire in Houston, Texas. The caption on the picture reads: "Houston's Big Fire Feb 21, 1912 Where the Blaze Started." There are a few men looking through the debris.

Postcard from J. P. Eagan to George Pendexter describing the photograph on the reverse side as a fire in St. Louis on May 23, 1911 and saying that Pendexter's new fire truck "is a dandy" and gives a descriptions of its technical features. The photograph on the reverse side shows a large number of fire fighters working to put out a fire at one of the buildings in the city; Eagan says "This is one of several paper stock fire." Three of the photographed firemen are walking up the large pile of debris while most of the others are at ground level working the hoses and spraying water on the pile.
