The bottom of the letter contains a handwritten note that reads, "Dear Johnny: I look forward to working with you -- and hope you can meet in Kerrville on the 31st. Regards from my dad."

Pages four and five list the princesses, their flag, and the group they represent. Page six of the program lists the escorts for the princesses. Page seven lists: San Jacinto State Park Commission, San Jacinto Museum of History Association, Color Guard, Parade Marshall, and Parade Participants. The back cover of the program has an illustration of the six flags over Texas and the statue of Sam Houston on horseback.
