A letter written to Mr. T. N. Carswell, Abilene, Texas, from Jewel McLeod (Mrs. James O. McLeod), Dallas 11, Texas, dated May 20, 1952. McLeod explains the suggestion she had made about Carswell securing a Civil Service connection in Dallas as selfish on her part and wanting again to work for her "Old Boss", since some of her fondest memories were in connection with her work with Carswell. McLeod describes her job and expresses her wish for the best for him and Mrs. Carswell, that Orville and the boys join in extending best regards.
