He advises that they may close their file but requests advisement if knowledge is secured of the "whereabouts" of the parolee.

A letter written to Governor Allan Shivers, Austin, Texas, from T. N. Carswell, dated July 19, 1955. Carswell discourses on the need to send a Shiver delegation to the National Convention to defeat, again, the element in the Texas Democratic party that fought Shivers in '52 and '54.

Subject 40-7940 reports to the Board regarding his plans to live in California under the authority of the telegram dated March 16, 1955 to T. N. Carswell from the Board. Subject advises of a job opportunity in San Diego with an industry that provides jobs for those disabled such as he is and of his Government disability pay promising to report monthly and to return to Texas willingly if required.

A letter written to Rupert H. Johnson, from T. N. Carswell, dated November 19, 1955. Carswell advises Johnson that he will not try again to enter the Exchange market explaining he cannot provide additional funds. He expresses his appreciation to Johnson for his generosity in the time and attention given to his account.
