He congratulates Carswell on the splendid service he is rendering the State and the men under his supervision as Chairman of the Volunteer Parole Board in Abilene.

McGill expresses his enjoyment of their visit while Carswell was in Austin, advises that he and Shivers will be "on the lookout" for the clemency cases mentioned and expresses their appreciation for the splendid service rendered by Carswell.
