Letter from Jack Sayles to Darall G. Hawk discussing his protection as the owner of an oil and gas lease if the original vendee re-conveys a property with cancellation of a vendor's lien. Sayles also mentions that the sub-purchaser's interest in the land is not protected. Sayles states that the Lyle heirs could institute a suit to foreclose the vendor's lien. He gives multiple cases as a supplement for his explanation.
