Farlin also notes that he has sent three sacks of oats to Redway in Kelly's Creek and delevered two sacks to Redway's team located in Camp Piatt. The oats were to make up for the shortage of forage supplies during the last ten days.

Postcard of a road with trolley tracks and a horse drawn buggy, edged by trees and quaint homes. The back of the postcard reads, "Your letter received was glad to know that you are well and having a fine time you and Ammazeltas. Hope Mrs. Wilson keeps well and getting along nicely with her charge. All are well at Mrs. Wilson Home all the carriage making it regular. Have had a terrible tropical rain but no cooler. We hear everyday from your Mama, she is well, at Portland. Hope you get a postcard every day. Your little brothers are all doing fine, had a letter yesterday from Aida Welle, Love Grandma." The postcard is addressed to "Miss Mamie McFaddin Pence Springs Care Pence Hotel West Va."

Redway received fifty six sacks of corn, thirty two sacks of oats, and fifty seven bales of hay for his cavalry's forage. Notations on the receipt state that additional stores of corn were available at Tompkins. He received this shipment at his station in Kelly's Creek.
