Onionskin paper copy of a letter to the Honorable Daniel T. Valdes, Secretary General, League of United Latin American Citizens, in Santa Fe, New Mexico, from John J. Herrera, Texas Regional Organizer of Houston, Texas, dated March 18, 1948. The Houston Council had been asked to sponsor the "LULAC News" for March of 1948 but are unable to do so, having been busy with the installation of the new Galveston LULAC Council. Herrera offers the council's sponsorship of the April issue.
