A letter written to Mr. T. N. Carswell, Secretary-Treasurer, Lions Club, Abilene, Texas, from W. K. Wingfield, President, Lions Club of Temple, Temple, Texas, dated April 18, 1924. Wingfield defends Col. Perry explaining that the Waco meeting at which Col. Perry was not present resulted in things done there that he and his committee did not agree to. He expresses his hope to see Carswell at the Abilene Club, the Paris Convention and then at Omaha in June.

The letter advises of travel arrangements as provided officers of the Lions Clubs of Texas for the Paris Convention. Perry advises that certificates are "going out" to the Secretaries in this letter. Enclosed is a Round Trip Identification Certificate for the District Convention of Lions Clubs Annual State Meting, Paris, Texas dated May 5-6, 1924 with the signature of Louis C. Perry, District Governor of Texas.
