Patent for improving tires for the motor vehicles. The invention provides a wheel with a tieldably connected tire so as to take up the vibration upon the vehicle equipped with the wheel. Further, invention provides vehicle wheel with a yieldable rim. This rim is for a wheel formed from sheet metal instead of usual pneumatic tire, eliminating the expense of repairs from punctures and blow-outs.

Patent for floor selector switch for electric door operating apparatus situated at the floor/landing near the elevator shaft to close and open the elevator gate/door. It also allows the elevator operator to use a switch to operate the elevator gate/door, and also lock the gate/door so it cannot be opened by accident. All said to work quickly and quietly.

Patent for an electrically controlled means of automatically "opening and closing the doors of the elevator shaft" without slamming or banging the doors, including illustrations.

Patent for a new and improved plow. This design consists in a "hollow hub or sleeve in combination with the universal joint composed of a band fitting loosely within said sleeve, a gimbal-ring pivoted to said band, and a knuckle pivoted to said gimbal-ring, whereby motion may be transmitted from one rotary body to another when the planes of rotation are or are not parallel to each other" (lines 88-95).

Patent for a new and improved plow. This design consists in "[t]he combination, with the driving-wheel . . . the rotary mold-board, and the plow-beam, of the universal joint composed of the hollow portion of the hub of the driving-wheel, a ring pivoted thereto, a knuckle pivoted to said ring, and a band encircling the hollow portion of said hub and fixed to the said plow-beam" (lines 6-13).

Patent for an electric door or gate operating and locking device that allows for automatically opening and closing a door or gate and locking it when it is open or closed. This device may be turned off if necessary to allow for manually moving the door or gate and may be installed cheaply in preexisting structures.

Patent for a new and improved cultivator. This design consists in "[t]he combination, with a blade arranged for connection with a beam and formed with cutting-edges . . . , of a wing in a horizontal plane formed with a cutting-edge and rigidly connected to the blade at some distance above its lower edge" (lines 60-65).

Patent for a new and improved hay pressing or baling machine. This design "relates to presses or baling-machines, and more particularly to that class which are worked bu hand-power" (line 9 - 11).
