Article discusses how building a digital language archive requires a number of steps to ensure collecting, describing, preserving and providing access to language data in effective and efficient ways. This paper introduces the reader to the background of this project and discusses some of the areas important for representing language materials where both University of North Texas Libraries (UNTL) metadata and CoRSAL metadata practices were adapted to better fit the needs of intended audiences.

This presentation is a workshop that provides a structured program of five mindfulness exercises to help individuals learn how to develop mindfulness practices that may be useful when studying. The program is connected to an optional research study on mindfulness programming in libraries.

Access Services employees were empowered to participate in setting goals, future planning, and restructuring the department. Presentation discussing the steps taken to create a new circulating collection of equipment items, from needs assessment and item selection to circulation and promotion. Best practices for cataloging, circulation, and item storage will be discussed. Presenters share a LibGuide created to enhance the discoverability of the collection and discuss decisions made about content and format. The presenters also highlight project successes, as well as some of the challenges faced and lessons learned. It was presented at the 2022 Access Services Conference held in Atlanta, Georgia.

Article describes how biomedical devices such as pumping/mixing fluids, cell-culturing, and drug delivery often use different actuation methods. In regard to magnetic actuation, membranes with a local distribution of magnetic particles are investigated and compared to membranes with randomly distributed magnetic particles, which in turn may enhance the actuation performance for certain applications.

The keynote speaker was Dr. Susan Poser, a close friend of the dean. Students Seth Carter and Nicole Ying performed "Turbulence" by Bruce Faulconer on the piano and tuba. After the graduates received their degrees, a student jazz band played as the graduates existed the performance hall.

Article discusses how free-ranging dogs are of major conservation concern worldwide as they negatively affect wildlife. Although scientists and governmental agencies are aware of the problem and responsible pet ownership strategies are beginning to be implemented, the tourism sector must be explicitly integrated into wildlife conservation management strategies.

Article examines the relationship between COVID-19 shocks and GDP loss of different countries worldwide based on the seven scenarios of the epidemiological DSGE/CGE model. Their results reveal that the most significant GDP loss is associated with Japan, Germany, and the US, respectively, which are industrialized countries with the most prominent automobile manufacturers.
