He thanks her for a box she sent him at Christmas, and admits that Italy is better than Africa, and there are more things to take pictures of in Italy than in Africa, but he still wants to go home. He's heard that Margaret Ann is dating a soldier, and predicts that they will get married.

Letter from Jack G. Bishop at Baylor College of Dentistry to Todd Bradford Willis on December 15, 1978, informing Willis of his acceptance into the Department of Pedodontics, provided he maintains his GPA until his graduation the following year from The University of Texas Dental Branch at Houston. Bishop also informs him of a $200 deposit.

A letter from Johnie Louise Bruyere to the Board of Trustees of Gurley School in Waco, Texas. She asks to apply for a teaching position at Gurley School, stating that she attended the school eleven years ago. She submits five names as reference.
