Letter from Oscar M. Laurel to Albert Armendariz, National President of the League of United Latin American Citizens addressing the reasoning behind the sixty day requirement of the submission of names of candidates running for the office of national president: "To notify the national office sixty days prior to the national convention is merely to appraise all the councils throughout the League of the names of the persons so interested." This resolution was created to help with "the matter of so called 'dark horses' who, by reason of political strategy and maneuver withold until the last minute the placing of their names in nomination."

Form letter to different companies regarding the 37th National LULAC convention from June 23-26, 1966 at the Rice Hotel in Houston. The national convention co-chairman, Toby P. Hernandez, asks if they would like to provide pencils, scratch pads, book matches, etc., with their company name monogrammed. Also, Hernandez asks the companies if they would they like to put an advertisement in the convention booklet.
