One of the city's oldest Masonic organiztions, the Myrtle lodge members dedicated their new $275,000 building at SW 44 and Western in a special cornerstone ceremony. Designed by Berlowitz and assoicates architects, the structure is of functional design, and includes seven large rooms. These are two large lodge rooms, fellowship hall, kitchen complete with latest equipment, library, two lecture rooms and an office for the secretary......................They are Homer C. Zunwalt, who replaces W. P. Hunter as worshipful master; Marion Bostiwick, senoir warden; Erwin Nits, junior warden; Frazier Jobe, treasurer. Also, George Miller, secretary; Bill Motley, senior deacon; L. F. Fanning, junior deacon; Jess Barefoot, senior steward; Jim Bean, junior steward; Tom Pilcher, tyler. J. W. Trevette is chaplain.
