It is postmarked Marshall, Texas, Feb 15, 1940. A message is written in pencil and it is addressed to Mr. & Mrs. H. A. Marshall in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

Postcard to Harry Redeffer. The sender writes that she's able to stay another 3 weeks and discusses the state of the weather. The front of the postcard features a perspective view photograph of Main Street, Boerne, Texas. On either side of the street are trees and shopfronts. Electrical poles line the left side as well. The name of the street is printed at the bottom of the postcard.

There is a letter on the back of the postcard addressed to "Henry" that refers to an attack that day on Nuevo Laredo by revolutionaries.

Postcard sent from Mr. William Mole to Maurice and Minnie picturing soldiers in a mess line at Camp MacArthur in Waco, Texas with a handwritten message on the back saying that his tools will be fine in their cellar.

Postcard from W. B. Johnston to George Pendexter regarding his contacts in Detroit, Michigan. The photograph on the reverse side of the card shows a fire taking place in Battle Creek, Michigan with the fire department working to put it out. The building on fire is the lightly colored one in the center of the photo; there is smoke coming out of the windows. The caption on the photo reads: "The Fire - Dec. 7-1911. Battle Creek, Mich."
