Fourche Maline Creek Watershed

Photograph of the Fourche Maline Creek Watershed Site No. 1. Contractor J. L. Putnam and Construction Inspector Wm. Milano standing on structure center line in emergency spillway area of site looking north into cleared sediment and conservation pool. Disturbed area halfway up slope in right center of photo is on centerline of dam and is site of core drill foundation sounding east end of dam site. Excavated material at base of slope delineates diversion channel constructed to drain and facilitate foundation preparation and coring prior to placing horizontal barrel in principal spillway structure.
