The daily run was 519 miles between Wichita, KS, and San Angelo, TX: two sets of equipment were required, Motors M-160, M-161 and M-162 were assigned so that one at a time could be overhauled or be available for emergencies.

These trains make 519-mile runs daily between Wichita, KS. and San Angelo, TX. Until 1929, this line was the Kansas City, Mexico & Orient RR. Pictured track is part of a 3-mile relocation due to the increase in height of the Lugert dam.
