She lists her responsibilities as Stage Manager of the Drama Club, requests that he not tell Mother about the job she will have at $10 a week for the summer and asks what he thinks about her working. She compliments Carswell's letters, specifically his command of language, and comments on the letter that he wrote to the President, agreeing with him regarding his opinion of a fourth term for Roosevelt. She writes that a fourth term "would be disasterous …
