Caption: "Bloodstained towel is pressed against painful head and face cuts by Robert Earl Maker, 22, of 811 NE 71, following three-car collision Friday night at Northeast Expressway and Kelly. Maker's only passenger, his youngest brother, James E., also suffered cuts and a broken arm, when the car's windshield shattered. Also involved in the crash were cars driven by Robert H. Davis, 40, of 4809 N Detroit, and Drexel D, Baker jr., 24, of 6404 Ann Arbor Terr, neither of whom was injured. The Maker brothers were in satisfactory condition at Baptist Hospital. Only Davis was wearing a seat belt. (T-6-30-69: Bloodstained scenes like this will be repeated across Oklahoma this Independence Day weekend unless drivers use extra caution on the expected crowded streets and highways during the holiday period . During the last July 4 holiday period nine persons died and 117 were injured in the state. During the Memorial Day weekend this year, 15 were killed. The highway patrol plans extra man-hours of duty to try to curb the toll.)"
