When finished in 1979 the giant plant will have 16,500 tons of steel in its framework. Roof decking and walls are up on a 378,000 square-foot section of the plant and the 72,000 sqaure-yard front parking lot (lower left) is partially paved. The depression (upper left) divided by a roadway will become two rentention ponds, each holding 2.3 million gallons of runoff water. The ponds will prevent flooding of the plant's storm drainage system. More than 1,000 workers are employed in the construction."
