Corn With A Buffer Strip of Clover Planted on Contour Strip and Rotation of Crops on D. E. Frank Farm/Stillwater District/Guthrie Camp
Photograph of corn with a buffer strip of clover planted on contour strip and rotation of crops on D. E. Frank farm. The back of the photograph proclaims, "Contour strip and rotation of crops. This is corn with a buffer strip of clover. There was no run-off from this field during a 3 ΒΌ inch rain. The field is not terraced. This cooperator thought that it would be necessary to construct 6 to 8 miles of terraces on his farm, but there was no work done on this man's farm except the breaking down of his fields into smaller ones and farming them with the contour."
