Hill discusses growing up in Pittsfield and the layout of the communities there, her family history, school, attending the University of Massachusetts at Amherst, working at Harvard, marrying Hugh, festivities on the Cambridge commons, Blue's storytelling career, and her career working on African-American history projects.
