Bentley states that the examination was given to determine if Daniels was telling the truth in his statement. He states that during the pre-test Daniels claimed that he did not think the person that entered the basement was Jack Ruby, and that he was also very confused about what he said in his statement. Six of the nine questions asked indicated that his answers were false, one answer was indicated as true, and two of the questions were not answered.
