Taffet discusses his education, coming out, anti-war activism at State University of New York at Albany, the SUNY Gay Alliance, moving to Dallas, the AIDS epidemic, police harassment and entrapment, working for the Custom Shop and the Dallas Voice, the "AIDS cocktail" and advancements in treatment of the illness, and grassroots politics.
