Postcard of Camp MacArthur with tents on the right side, division headquarters in the back (center), and houses and cars on the left side. Printed on the front of the postcard: "Division Headquarters. Camp MacArthur Waco Texas. Mann." There is a handwritten letter on the back of the postcard.

Within the crowd are uniformed men, individuals and families. On the bottom left hand corner are wooden beams.

A certificate issued by the Army of the United States of America to commemorate Private Jett (Johnny, Jetty) Falls' increase in rank from Private to Corporal. It is a standard WWI issued form with blank spaces available for personalization. This form was completed by a Lt. Colonel (his signature is unreadable) at Camp Travis, Texas on April 11th 1918. The remaining filled spaces detail the Private Jett Falls, Co. E 359th Infantry had been promoted to Corporal of that same division on March 27th 1918.

John O. and Beulah Pollard Forrest are seen on the second row, center. John O. is behind the seated man with the hat between his feet and Beulah is to John O.'s left. A sign in the window of the store reads "All Leather Shoes, Friedman Shelby, Curbo Merc. Co."

Document outlining orders from the Secretary of War regarding the commander of Camp Joseph E. Johnston's power to appoint general courts-martial, a requirement that all men assigned to supply trains wear the Motor Transport Corps hat cord, changes to the duties of quartermasters, and the review process for general courts-martial.

Letter from Hector Suyker to Emma Riecke discussing the end of the war, newly drafted men, the fair that was occurring and the movie he saw. Mac's father has died and he was sent home on furlough. he asks Emma to write him everyday. In he postscript he talks about am buttons for his coat.

The mail was sent to another company and there will be a party in the evening where Hector hope to speak with the Captain regarding discharge.

We have to go out on the shooting on the range. It is raining here a little tonight. Please send me your address when you go to Waupun. Will write a letter later. Billy."

Where you see the x, that is me. It isn't very plain but that is me anyway. Show this to the folks so they can see how we hafto wash our own dishes in camp. Eugene."
