He advises Drake, that in his opinion, Peggy would fit in well with his organization.

A memorandum from L. M. Fellbaum, Major, Q. M. C., Chief, Field Division to Mr. T. N. Carswell, dated December 11, 1944. The memorandum is a reprimand from Fellbaum regarding the importance that Carswell keep headquarters informed of his present location. A handwritten sidenote from Fellbaum softens the reprimand by stating that this is nothing but nagging. The reverse side includes a handwritten note by Carswell documenting a telephone conversation with Fellbaum defending his reporting of his travel itinerary, confirming his having notified headquarters and the submission of an ammended itinerary on December 13, 1944.

A letter written to Horace [H. J. Blackwell] from T. N. Carswell, Abilene, Texas, dated August 11, 1965. Carswell explains his holdings of 200 shares of South Coast Life Insurance stock, of his desire to acquire more and requests information regarding the Company, if available. He advises, in a postscript, that he would value Blackwell's opinion. The reverse side includes business letterhead of Little Tuffy Mfg. Co. A Division of Abilene Machine Co., 1342 Pine Street, Abilene, Texas and bears Assurance Opaque Parchment watermark.

A letter written to Mr. J. D. Riddle, First Baptist Church, Abilene, Texas, from Jeff Davis, Executive Secretary, United Texas Drys, dated June 11, 1941. Davis advises Riddle that Judge Miller has taken the case. Davis has directed Brother Moore to contact Miller and "let him get busy on the mandamus proceedings".
