Wilson requests to be instructed regarding how to keep records for men forwarded for preinduction examination. He advises that as it is now the IV-F classification is the only indication that the men have been up for examination. The letter is typewritten on SELECTIVE SERVICE SYSTEM letterhead bearing stamp of Local Board No. 1, Fisher County, Roby, Texas.

A memorandum from L. M. Fellbaum, Major, Q. M. C., Chief, Field Division to Mr. T. N. Carswell, dated December 11, 1944. The memorandum is a reprimand from Fellbaum regarding the importance that Carswell keep headquarters informed of his present location. A handwritten sidenote from Fellbaum softens the reprimand by stating that this is nothing but nagging. The reverse side includes a handwritten note by Carswell documenting a telephone conversation with Fellbaum defending his reporting of his travel itinerary, confirming his having notified headquarters and the submission of an ammended itinerary on December 13, 1944.

A letter written to Mr. Carswell from the grandmother of the daughter of a parolee dated June 11, 1953. The letter is a reply to Carswell advising that Subject is married to her daughter and follows with a discourse on her disapproval of Subject.
