Report to Chief J. E. Curry by Jack Revill concerning interviews with Police personnel by David Hughes of the Dallas Times Herald on November 24, 1963. Revill states that Hughes was not working when he saw the shooting of Lee Harvey Oswald on television and he immediately reported to work at the Times Herald City Desk for assignment. He was instructed to interview police officers and others who were present at the shooting. Hughes stated that he interviewed Sergeant P. T. Dean, who said that Jack Ruby had come from the Main Street entrance ramp, although he did not see him. Hughes also interviewed Patrolman R. E. Vaughn who stated that Ruby apparently gained access to the City Hall basement through the ramp, although he did not see him pass by his assignment.

Report to Chief J. E. Curry by C. C. Wallace concerning an interview with Ike Pappas of WNEW New York Radio Station. Wallace describes Mr. Pappas' observations on the day of the shooting of Lee Harvey Oswald.

Documents relating to the suit of Mrs. E. D. Butler vs. Murphy & Wood include the commission to take depositions of J. M. Smith, the list of interrogatories prepared and agreed upon by the attorneys, and the certification of the transcript as submitted to the Circuit Court for the Eastern District of Texas and received by the District Clerk on December 11, 1879.

Report to Chief J. E. Curry by F. I. Cornwall concerning an interview with Darwin Payne of the Dallas Times Herald, regarding an article on the shooting of Lee Harvey Oswald. The report addresses an article written by Payne wrongly stating that a Dallas Police Officer claimed to see Jack Ruby enter the basement of City Hall. The article in question is included with the report.

Report to Chief J. E. Curry by O. A. Jones, concerning an interview with Jimmy Darnell, a cameraman for WBAP-TV. Darnell stated that he took about 500 feet of film in the Police Assembly Room. He spoke to John Rutledge of the Dallas Morning News who told him a story about Ruby biting a man's nose off years ago.
