This is what's left of the car in which Mrs. Etta Davis, age 65, of Carter, was killed in a two-car head-on collision Thursday. Accident occurred at the junction of U.S. 66 and SH 34, six miles west of Elk City. Mrs. Davis' husband and the two occupants of the other auto were injured critically in the crash. It was Beckham county's 14th traffic fatality of the year. This car was driven by T.M. Davis, 69, husband of the dead woman."

Officials said the craft apparently hit power lines."
