Photograph used for a story in the Daily Oklahoman newspaper. Caption: "This group of 65 Oklahoma City bussinessmen and civic leaders Monday got a preview of the ne YMCA building nearing completion at NW 5 and Robinson. The visitors - donors of furnishing for the first 100 dormitory rooms in the new building-were luncheon guests of the "Y." After lunch, they were taken on a tour of the various facilities already completed. One point of interest was a model dormitory room, completely furnished. Other high spots of the tour were the massive gymnasium and swimming pool, which is ready for use except for the water...Speakers at the dinner Monday, a buffet affair, included Claude Monnet, president of the YMCA's Board of directors; E. K. Gaylord, a member of the board, and R. J. Clements, head of the dormitoru furnishing committee. The food was served by stenographers at the "Y" in the all-purpose room on the second floor of the new building."
