[Correspondence between Meyer Bodansky and John W. Spies - October 1939]

Letters between Dr. Meyer Bodansky and Dr. John W. Spies, who are both faculty from the School of Medicine at the University of Texas. The first letter, which is dated October 9, 1939 from Dr. Bodansky informs Dr. Spies that a notification for a grant is enclosed with the letter. Dr. Bodansky requests that Dr. Spies, who is the Dean of the Medical School, reviews and authorizes the proposed grant. Dr. Bodansky includes in the letter a description of what the grant is intended for. The second letter, which is dated October 11, 1939, is a response from Dr. Spies. He informs Dr. Bodansky that the grant, which has been accepted. There are short handwritten notes on both of the typed letters.
