Oklahoma Gas and Electric Co. officials said the crash damaged a transformer, and most of the residents in that block were without electric power for two hours before repairs could be made. Officer R. L. Tettleton is shown investigating the accident, He said the car was driven by Dale Lewis Cheek, 22, of 6801 S Genesse."

The driver of the car, Glen Zennett Boggs, 17, Tinker air force base, was booked by police on complaints of reckless driving and having no driver's license. Dona Johnson, 17, of 536 SW 33, a passenger in Boggs' car, was taken to Hubbard hospital suffering shock and a bruised left leg, Another passenger, Gordon E. Doyle, 18, Tinker field, received a cut on the head. Two other passengers were not injured."

Brokaw, police accident investigator, checks damage to an automobile which skidded 67 feet before crashing into a rock wall at NE 36 and Eastern early Wednesday. Driver of the car, Kirkland K. Hudson, 28, of 442 SE 22, suffered internal injuries, bruises and shock. He was admitted to Mercy hospital for treatment. Maj. Clay Scheid, head of the police traffic division, termed the intersection "very dangerous" and said a department store removed an outdoor advertising sign from the location after cars struck it three times."

Caption: "Walkaway Job This car went out of control 120 feet, rolled over twice and landed on its top, but Charles Wilson, 72, Anadarko, the driver, crawled out uninjured a few minutes later after passing motorists opened the door. The accident occurred on SH 41 a half mile west of Wheatland. Trooper W. F. Robinson said Wilson ran off the shoulder on a curve, apparently lost control and skidded sideways before overturning."
