In this tangled network of steel Claude L. Hight, 38-year-old field worker, was crushed to death late Sunday night. Another workman high up in the derrick whose duty it was to unhook and stack the pipe as it was pulled out, had descended only a few minutes before the framework buckled and collapsed."
