The third and final letter of this correspondence, written on July 18, 1944, Alex Bradford thanks Archie A. McConnell for informing that Mr. George McConnell is currently in Australia.

The article "Washington Calling" addresses doubts about the ability of Americans to come together for a common goal. Initially, Americans thought that, when faced with war, the country would stand divided, but during WWII the country united and became a powerhouse of production. The article "Letters From the People" sympathizes with the people of Spain because it acknowledges that the Spanish had to choose between communism and fascism. The caller is of the opinion that the Spanish should not be criticized for choosing fascism when both of their only options were oppressive regimes.
