The front of the postcard features a photograph, colored in with ink, of Walnut Grove Ranch in Boerne, Texas. The ranch has two large buildings barely visible in the center of a large area filled with scrub-brush and trees.

Postcard from L. A. to Mr. Will L. Henkle, thanking him for sending something, and discussing Texas's pretty landscape. The front of the postcard features a photograph of Holy Angels Academy in Boerne, Texas, a two-story building with wrap-around porches on both stories. There is a small tower extending from the center of the roof of the building, with a cross-shaped spire at the top. There are a few short steps leading up to the first-story porch and the front door to the academy. There are several trees surrounding the building, obscuring much of the second-story.
