Walton acknowledges a telephone conversation with Carswell and includes the address of Dr. Allen J. Moon as per the request from Carswell noting that Dr. Moon might appreciate a card for his 93rd birthday. Notation handwritten by Carswell indicates he sent a card to Dr. Moon on September 9, 1966.

A letter written to Mr. Thomas N. Carswell, Post Commander, Parramore Post, Abilene, Texas, from W. Lee O'Daniel, Texas, United States Senate, dated August 8, 1941. O'Daniel acknowledges the receipt of the letter which included a copy of the telegram Carswell sent to the President and notes that he is glad to know of Carswell's views in this matter.

Prather expresses his appreciation of the letter from Carswell concerning their proposed organization for Conservative Democrats in Dallas County. He advises that more people are expressing the idea contained in Carswell's letter regarding making it a state-wide organization and confirms that his help in his area would be greatly appreciated.

A letter written to Uncle Norwood [T. N. Carswell] from Martha Virginia Carswell, Homerville, Georgia, dated August 8, 1944. Martha Carswell advises that she has decided to go into the U. S. Nursing Corps and asks if he thinks it a wise thing to do. She advises that her mother wants for her to do so but that her father does not and that he has always treated her mother, herself and all of the children "terrible". Two postscripts address her guilt regarding her hatred.

A letter written to Mr. T. N. Carswell, Abilene, Texas, from Omar Burleson, House of Representatives, Washington, D. C., dated August 8, 1967. Burleson expresses his appreciation for the letter from Carswell regarding Howard Caldwell which enabled him to make a more personal intervention in Caldwell's behalf regarding application to A.I.D. United States Agency for International Development.
