A letter written to Mr. T. N. Carswell, Chairman, Committee on Americanism, Parramore Post No. 57, American Legion, Abilene, Texas, from Le Roy V. Greene, Assistant Secretary to the Governor, Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, dated December 8, 1941. Greene acknowledges receipt of the letter from Carswell advising that he is bringing it to the attention of the Governor and "meanwhile" sends a copy of a quotation by the Governor regarding Americanism.
