The invention affords "the most perfect protection to the user by protecting his knee against contact with objects which would tend to bruise and injure it, and by preventing the dampness of the ground from being transmitted to the knee, which, as is well known, results in various diseases, such as rheumatism" (lines 13-20).

Patent for a cultivator or plow standard that improves "the standard which connects the shoe or landslide of a sweep-shovel or bull-tongue plow with the beam, so as to render ti fixed and secure at any point of adjustment" (lines 16-19).

Patent for a cotton elevator, cleaner, and distributor that takes cotton from a wagon or storage area and blasts it with air before depositing it into a gin. It is a cage inside a case.
