He advises that he has enclosed a check, to let it be a Christmas Present, and that her use and enjoyment of it will be her Christmas present to him. Carswell advises of a suggestion made by Dr. Reiff, that Simmons provide a marker for her grave and the corner stone taken from Anna Hall be placed in the new Student Union building.
