The first letter, which is from Dr. Bodansky, informs Mr. Lankford that he sent one of his research papers along with his own notes to a medical publication. The second letter, which is from Mr. Lankford, discusses some of his researchas well as expressing hi apologies for not being able to work with Dr. Bodansky because of time constraints.

The letter thanks Dr. Spies for his notification of the approval of Dr. Bodansky's absence from the University of Galveston, and notifies him when he returned.

Herrera also feels that a Regional Convention of LULAC would help inform delegates how to cope with local situations of illegal segregation. Also included are some recommendations of Herrera's for updates to the LULAC constitution, frequency of LULAC News printing, and distribution of LULAC lapel buttons, application cards, and membership cards.
