The Convair B-58 flight crew make final preparations with another officer before a flight from Los Angeles to New York. This flight would win the 1962 Bendix Trophy: Lt. John T. Walton (defensive systems operator), Capt. Robert G. Sowers (pilot), and Capt. Robert McDonald (navigator).
