Austin reports that the Mexican military at Bexar has advanced to Gonzales but that Texans agree that the first strategic victory for the revolution should be to take Bexar and drive out the Mexican military there, before the campaign closes. Austin asks the committee to circulate this news, and his request for military provisions and volunteers, to other communities.
