Interview with Army Air Forces veteran Leslie W. Bray, Jr. The interview includes Bray's personal experiences about the China-Burma-India Theater during World War II, youth during the Great Depression, flight training, being designated as the commander of the 16th Combat Cargo Squadron, stationing at Sylhet, India as part of his assignment to the CBI Theater, supplying the British 14th Army in Burma, flying difficulties due to weather conditions, various transfers, and flying "The Hump." Interview with Joseph Andrew Brenner Sr., Hungarian-American immigrant to Weatherford, Texas, as part of the DFW Metroplex Immigrants Oral History Project. The interview includes Brenner's personal experiences of childhood and education in Budapest, Hungary, having a career as a tool and die machinist, the involvement with his brothers in anti-Soviet and anti-Communist resistance movements, being captured by Hungarian political police and subsequent torture, his sentence in a Soviet work camp, escaping across the Austrian border, and coping with memories of torture. Additionally, Brenner discusses his father's service in the German Luftwaffe, memories of the Soviet Army entering Budapest in 1945, immigrating to the U.S., settling in Weatherford, his efforts to maintain connections with family in Hungary, and the process of earning his citizenship. Interview with Foy Taylor, a longtime resident of Denton, Texas, and donor of a antique log cabin to the Denton County Historical Commission. Taylor discusses his family background, education and career, his service in the Navy and witnessing atomic bomb tests, his family's farm in Denton, growing up in the area, prohibition and the Depression, and changes in the town over time.

Interview with Thomas Jenny, a Marine Corps and Air America pilot from Miami, Florida, who served in Southeast Asia during the Vietnam War. Interview with William Smeltzer, a Army WWII veteran and Navy contractor from Wrightsville, Pennsylvania. Smeltzer discusses quitting high school and moving to California in 1940, experiences working at Mare and Pearl Harbor Navy Yards as a civilian contractor before and after the start of the war, the raising of the sunken USS Oklahoma (BB-37), being drafted into the Army and infantry training, assignment to the 45th Infantry Division and participating in the drive into Germany, the end of the war and demobilization, and his career afterwards. In appendix are a photo of the insignia for the Pearl Harbor Navy Yard and two photos of the capsized Oklahoma.
